- Permanent DOES NOT mean indestructible. Your jewelry is a precious metal. Please treat your chain with care.

-Avoid chemicals, perfumes, lotions, pools, and hot tubs. If your chain comes in contact with these, wash it with a gentle dish soap and a soft brush. Dry thoroughly and polish with a jewelry cloth.

What is permanent jewelry?
Permanent jewelry is custom fit and welded together, without a clasp!
We use a micro-welder to connect the ends. 

Does permanent jewelry hurt?
Not at all. Quick & painless! It just takes a zap or two from our micro-welder and you won’t feel a thing.

Do I need an appointment to get permanent jewelry?
An appointment is highly recommended to save your spot, however, we will try our best to accommodate walk-ins. Book an appointment at Uptown Girl Beauty & Boutique here.

What metals do you use for the permanent jewelry?
Precious metals. We use 14k gold filled & .925 sterling silver! We also have colorful seasonal pieces that are gold-plated enamel. For more information on our precious metals, click here.

How long will my permanent jewelry stay on?
 Your pieces will stay on for as long as you'd like with proper care! Just because it’s permanent doesn’t mean it’s indestructible. Our jewelry is made from fine precious metals.If for some reason you would like to remove your jewelry, simply cut the chain with wire cutter or strong nail clipper and save it if you'd like it to be re-welded it in the future.

What if my chain breaks?
-If you must remove your chain for a medical procedure or special event, cut it with a wire cutter or strong nail clipper at the welded ring. We can re-weld your chain for a $15 fee.

-If your chain comes apart at the welded ring in the first 30 days, we will re-weld it for no charge.

-If your chain breaks within the first 60 days, we will repair it for a $15 fee.

If your chain breaks and is lost within the first 60 days, we will replace it at a 50% discount. Charms not included.

-After 60 days, your jewelry is your responsibility, and no discounted replacements will be given.

Can I go through airport security with permanent jewelry?
Absolutely! TSA does not ask you to remove fine jewelry, so you'll be able to take your permanent jewelry with you on your trips.

Who should not get permanent jewelry?
Those with pacemakers are not eligible. 
Allergies to gold, sterling silver, and gold fill should not get permanent jewelry.

Can kids get a piece of permanent jewelry?
We will not weld on anyone under the age of 8. We do have clasps we can weld on the jewelry to provide your little one the permanent jewelry experience. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Can I give permanent jewelry as a gift?
Of course! Gift cards are available for purchase.
